AN4 and Bye Bye Standby saves more power for the people at BETT 09
ALTON, HAMPSHIRE, 1st December, 2008 — AN4 Group, one of the UK’s most respected technology product and solution providers, has announced its collaboration with Bye Bye Standby to launch the Professional version of its innovative Energy Manager solution for the UK education market at the BETT 2009 show at Olympia, 14-17 January 2009.
Bye Bye Standby, part of the Domia Group, offers a range of energy saving solutions able to remotely cut power to electrical devices when in standby mode. AN4 Group will be showcasing Bye Bye Standby Professional, a new range of modules that address the management, measurement and reporting needs of medium to large organisations.
Each of the BBS Professional Smart Sockets has a two way radio system built into it that enables it to exchange information with the Bye Bye Standby Energy Manager that allows control of each socket and measurement of power being drawn by the unit. The new product also has support for a wider range of business devices such as servers, desktop PC and classroom equipment including electronic whiteboards and typical classroom AV equipment.
