Commerce Decisions (www.commercedecisions.com), a leading provider of eEvaluation and eReview software and services, today announces its partnership with BravoSolution on the Welsh Assembly Government's xchangewales programme.
The partnership will see the AWARD eEvaluation tool from Commerce Decisions included as a key component of the programme, which was set up to help public sector organisations across Wales evaluate tenders, place orders and pay for goods and services from their suppliers online. The BravoSolution/Commerce Decisions contract on the xchangewales programme will run for a minimum of four years.
Through the inclusion of AWARD in the comprehensive suite of xchangewales tools and web-based services, public sector organisations across Wales will be able to improve process efficiencies, such as ease of multiple-stakeholder involvement, and reduce project timescales. The tool will also increase the buyer’s transparency and audit-ability by building a clear and transparent decision-making trail.
The tool can be used by buyers from central and local government, Higher and Further Education, the NHS and the emergency services to conduct the tender evaluation process electronically. So far 111 buyers across Wales have been trained to evaluate responses online.
“BravoSolution is proud of the work Commerce Decisions has achieved as our eEvaluation partner under the OGCbuying.solutions eSourcing Managed Service. The partnership has been going strong for three years now, with Commerce Decisions’ dedication and professionalism enabling the companies to work seamlessly together on large projects such as xchangewales.” commented Nader Sabbaghian, Managing Director, BravoSolution UK.
The AWARD software is a collaborative web-based software solution designed specifically to support the strategic procurement process from Request for Information preparation, through proposal evaluation to negotiation, delivery and post contract review. AWARD is proven to reduce time to contract, improve value for money and reduce risk. It has been used to support strategic procurements in a range of sectors including utilities, transport, local government, healthcare, aerospace and defence.
“We are delighted to be part of the Welsh Assembly Government's xchangewales programme and feel we can put all the experience we have gained working on public sector procurements, from schools to hospitals to transportation, to full use here,” observed John Thompson, CEO, Commerce Decisions.
